The Netherlands' OIL ups the ante after their critically acclaimed “Definition Delta” LP, with five new blasts of rock swagger and punk sensibilities. With an ever evolving sound, OIL smashes all expectations and takes it to the street where they prove themselves to be veterans of the European hardcore scene. With their newest EP, “Electric Tongue”, OIL traces shadows of their trademark DC-influenced hardcore sound and mixes in elements of DRIVE LIKE JEHU, HOT SNAKES, and the attitude of RYE COALITION to bring a previously unheard texture and sass to their music. This EP demonstrates that the band is able to reinvent themselves with each subsequent release. Electric Tongue is a small taste of big things yet to come.
