‘Definition Delta’ showcases OIL’S ability to blend influences ranging from DC / Dischord bands such as RITES OF SPRING, DAG NASTY with a definite rock influence. Creating a sound that is fresh, inspiring and their own but akin to a band like HOT SNAKES. This debut was well received by the international press and with their relentless touring OIL has established a name for themselves in the Indie and post-hardcore scene. After an East Coast tour in 2003 (playing CMJ), another US tour is in the works. ‘Definition Delta’ contains 11 new songs and an enhanced video clip.
