Throw some early Boston hardcore with INFEST and YOUTH OF TODAY in a blender and 97A is the result. 97A was one of the premier bands on the East Coast that started to play fast thrashy hardcore in the mid 90’s before it became hip again. Although they came from the same time and place like HAND’S TIED and FLOORPUNCH, they never got lumped into the straight edge scene, but made a name for themselves. ‘Abandoned future’ contains the “Better off dead EP” plus 8 new songs.
